Our key staff

Mike has been with HV Power since 2003, bringing his practical experience working for NZE, contracting companies and a local network lines company.

He leads the team, coordinating and managing staff and resources to ensure you get the service and products you need, when you need them. He is also actively involved in the sales of switchgear and other product lines.

Warwick has had a varied career in the electrical industry from electrical technician, sales and product management. He has spent over a decade working internationally in the power quality industry. He returned to New Zealand in 2007 to set up HV Power’s Wellington office to support customers in the central and lower North Island.

His focus is on ensuring our customers for protection and IEDs are fully supported with leading-edge solutions.

Mark joined HV Power in 2022. His extensive sales management background working in the telecommunications, IT and power industries are proving to be a real asset in his current role as Sales Manager for HV Power.

Sabrina moved from São Paulo, Brazil, to New Zealand, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial analysis, logistics, administration, and project management. Throughout her career, she has delivered successful projects and exceptional customer service, including her work with HV Power, making her the logical choice to head our project team. She has been with the company since 2018.

Although one of HV Power’s newer managers (joining in 2023), Hemal’s 20-year experience in the cable manufacturing industry means he brings a results-driven approach as well as a comprehensive background in quality assurance and administration. As our Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Manager he is responsible for ensuring we maintain the highest standards of safety and quality across all our operations.

Roger joined HV Power in 2023 as our Design Manager. He has 20 years of experience in the UK Electrical Supply Industry including protection, rural automation and SCADA so he is perfectly positioned to customise HV Power product offerings to meet specific customer needs.

George has been with HV Power since 2019 after relocating from South Africa to New Zealand. His knowledge and experience of working for switchgear and engineering companies means he is the perfect person to head up our Switchgear division.

Niall joined HV Power in 2020, bringing his 20-plus years’ experience across a broad range of services and industries in both New Zealand and the UK. His main role is all matters Finance, but he also has administration and systems responsibilities for the company.

Brian has been part of the HV Power team since 2021. He brings over 30 years of experience working in the electrical utilities industry in New Zealand and South Africa. He enjoys expanding his knowledge of the industry so he can help our customers with the best solution for their needs.

Howard has significant industry experience locally and abroad in protection relay sales, support and power systems engineering. Since joining HV Power in 2017, his role as Sales Engineer - Protection has seen him focus on sales and support of Siemens SIPROTEC relays, RMS and other IED products in the lower South and upper North Islands.

Marcus has been at HV Power since 2010. He has for many years been associated with sales of primary plant to the local transmission and distribution sector. His focus for the last few years has been the sales and support of Siemens MV switchgear.

Elliot started at HV Power in 2022. He has over a decade of hands-on experience in distribution network protection – first as a technician and then in protection engineering. He is our Protection Specialist for the SIPROTEC 5 range, supporting our customers at the deepest technical levels.
