This one-day course is aimed at protection technicians wanting to enhance their knowledge and understanding of Siemens line differential protection.

This course will cover:

Setting up Siemens 7SXX line differential protection\
Multi-terminal setups
Testing line differential characteristics
Use of dual test sets for local and remote sites (synchronised test sets)

This course requires participants to bring their own Omicron test sets. Omicron digital licences would be an advantage. (SMV+Goose Configurator, Relay sim test and IED Scout).
