HV Power, Siemens VAR status recognised
As a VAR partner, HV Power can purchase the primary parts of medium-voltage switchgear from Siemens. but also source and assemble the low-voltage equipment necessary for customer delivery.
HV Power was officially handed its Value-added Reseller (VAR) certificate at a celebration in Auckland in March 2024.
As a VAR Partner, HV Power can purchase the primary parts of medium-voltage switchgear from Siemens but also source and assemble the low-voltage equipment necessary for customer delivery. This approach allows us to offer a full Siemens solution with protection, control, and automation, combining industry-leading technology with local standards and operating procedures knowledge.
The partnership opens up opportunities for HV Power, including access to engineering information and training opportunities for their site technicians on Siemens technology that is not available to others.
There were many process and QA requirements to be met for HV Power to qualify, but now Siemens has acknowledged HV Power as their first VAR Partner for New Zealand! The journey has been marked by success, especially in delivering projects within the utilities sector over the last two decades. This relationship is built on mutual trust, expertise, and a shared vision to drive the energy transition in New Zealand.
